Todmorden Plaque Trail


A collaboration with residents of  the town to create a trail of 37 plaques located in and around the town centre.




Local schools, businesses, churches and others designed a plaque to represent their organisation which were cast into gunmetal with a surrounding frame of stainless steel.

The plaques can be located using a map and guide which is available from the Tourist Information Centre, Library and other outlets in town.

The 3 pronged frame is a symbol of the geographical location of Todmorden which is situated at the confluence of 3 steep sided valleys. Commissioned by Todmorden Pride.
