A large open green space was rejuvenated by the addition of playgrounds, trees, sculptural features and mosaics. The overiding theme for the artworks was the around the textile industry, an industry in which people within the area had worked in since the Victorian era.

The main entrance feature uses two bobbin like forms to support a threaded archway.
