Stanningley Primary School, Leeds.

This once neglected corner of the school grounds was transformed with a sculptural landscaping idea that took it's inspiration from the school logo of a rainbow and five stars. These have been recreated in mosaic and green oak respectively.

Additional involvement was added by making the frame of the school sign from aluminium handcasts of the children.

stars detail

The stars were carved by sculptor Lea Torp Nielsen.
